Lenovo ThinkPad: The tablet with options

I enjoy a good device that gives me plenty of options for finding something that suits my needs. Lenovo has apparently read my mind with the newest edition of the ThinkPad. The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is a device that works with a series of options that make it more versatile.

Size is a big point

The first thing to address before getting to the options on the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is the size of the device. It is amazing to see how well the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 can work with such a big size without being too obtrusive. The 12.1 inch LED display on the device is very helpful and useful for all kinds of needs. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7 processor is a large and easy to handle processor that is not too difficult to handle.

The full keyboard is also great while at the same time being relatively small and easy to control. It will not take up as much space as other device would. It can be folded up for later as well.

What memory choices are there?

The options for memory on the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 are great to review. The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 can handle a 250 or 320 GB single drive or an 80 or 120 GB solid state drive. The larger drives have slower speeds but are still effective. HD encryption is also used on the single drives.

Other options

The options for other items on this device are also great to see. The device can handle a four or eight cell battery. It can also work with ExpressCard, USB or VGA ports depending on the needs that you might have.

Two CPU configurations can also be chosen from. These are the Intel Core i7 640LM and 6290LM options.

Some standard features also make the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 useful. These include the noise-canceling microphone and webcam with two megapixel resolution.

This device will be available for about two thousand dollars, thus making it out of some people’s price range. However, I can honestly say that the Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is something that I am definitely interested in. This device appears to be not only powerful but also useful with many different options in mind. This makes the device all the more effective for anyone who wants to handle different kinds of devices with all sorts of valuable functions for all of their tablet needs.
